Leavenworth Main Street hosts several events throughout the year encouraging people to enjoy our historic downtown.
Passageway Project- Scavenger Hunt 2– Enjoy discovering 2 years of our Passageway Art. Turn in your completed scavenger hunt to the Main Street office, 416 Cherokee, for a prize!
ART WALK Shawnee Street– (Click the link to download the map) We have curated a variety of art found up and down Shawnee Street. Our map will allow you to explore Shawnee’s Art Walk and learn about the history behind some of the more prominent pieces. (From the comfort of your own home!) And, when some of the social distancing guidelines are lifted, come down and “Walk the Walk” downtown Leavenworth! *This doesn’t represent all of the wonderful murals downtown, but it gets you started!
Alive After 5
First Thursday every month, year round:
Jan. 12 (2nd Thursday), Feb. 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, Jul. 13 (2nd Thursday), Aug. 3, Sept. 7, Oct.5, Nov. 2, Dec. 7.
Each month will have a dedicated theme and participating businesses will have goodies based on that theme.
January-Chili & Soups • February-Chocolate •. March- International Beer • April- Art Crawl • May-Cinco de Mayo • June- Summer Wine Walk • July-Summer Cool Down • August-Craft Beer Crawl • September- Hometown Welcome • October-Time to Tailgate • November Putt Putt Turkey Strut • December-Winter Wine Walk.
Each participating business will have a drink offering (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a 1-2 bite food offering complementing the theme. Essentially it is a walking Happy Hour. During June, July, August and September we have live music around town. You MUST be 21 years old to buy a ticket and participate in International Beer Fest (March), the Summer Wine Walk (June), the Craft Beer Crawl (August) and the Winter Wine Walk (December.)
There is a $15 fee to participate, tickets can be purchased online via PayPal, and maps picked up at the Leavenworth Main Street office the night of Alive After 5. Check the Leavenworth Main Street Facebook page or the Alive After 5 Facebook page for more information.

DIY for Dad
Saturday, June 17, 10 am-2pm
An interactive walk through downtown. Visit participating merchants and make a card, make a key fob, take a picture at our photo booth, make a keepsake handprint and put it all in a nice gift bag for dad. Map and bag hand out begins at 9:45. You must be in line with an adult to pick up a map.

The biggest sales of the year, Broadway to the river. Look for tables outside in front of your favorite shops! With so many great shops participating hard to keep a fair list updated! If you have a favorite shop call and find out if they are participating!

Walk around town and see how the shops and restaurants have decorated their Christmas Trees. Pick up you Tree guide at 416 Cherokee St. Begining December 1. Vote on your favorite 3 and turn in your guide by December 20! We will award the top choices 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cash awards!
Reindeer Romp

Are you ready to meet Rudolph! Come out to our 3rd Annual Reindeer Romp1 This is not a 5k run! It’s nice walk around town while you take part in Reindeer Games! This is a free event! Map handout will begin at 9:45 YOU MUST BE IN LINE with an adult to pick up a map. Music, crafts, food, Plus some other fun we will have up our sleeves!
